Focus began as a relatively simple organism- two in-laws laying out a science textbook in a dining room/makeshift office. John Crawley, founder of Focus, would eventually start his own company, Media Pub, to handle the growing number of projects in 1994. With the help of a few graphic designers, this capable little production shop reached a comfortable status, but John soon realized his narrow list of clients wasn't tapping into the creative talents of his small clan. In an environment that favored diversity, the time had come to evolve. The expansion began with designers reaching out to various personal contacts for creative work. First, a small software company out of a Las Vegas. Then, a research firm. Each new client presented the opportunity to hone a new set of skills, as it does today. Our evolution continues, which gives us a perpetual advantage within our marketing environment.
